About us
During his study on why many girls drop out of school, founder Wamala William was
disappointed to know that among the many factors, was lack of sanitary pads. Trying to
give a hand, he started Elgon foundation in 2020. The foundation failed to reach its full
potential so in return, he decided to start up Elgon store in 2022 to generate more funds
to the foundation which now focuses on creating hope and better tomorrows for
helpless young girls and boys. We are now ready and determined to compete in this
highly competitive sector to help change lives.
